--WHAT IS LIQUID CULTURE?--
A liquid culture is mycelium suspended in a nutrient-rich syrup. Using liquid cultures is a simple technique for inoculating and making your own mushroom grain spawn in bags or jars. Each liquid culture syringe contains 10mls of thriving mycelium suspended in our special Eastcoast Mushrooms LC nutrient solution.
Using liquid cultures is a simple technique for inoculating and making your own mushroom grain spawn in bags or jars. We do not recommend trying to inoculate bulk substrate with liquid culture. You should always go from liquid culture to sterilised grain.
These cultures are selected from our best regularly farm-grown genetics, tested often and ready to be inoculated into your sterilised grain.

--HOW TO USE--
For best results, use within 10 days of receiving the liquid culture. Due to the fast growth of this some species its best to use it as soon as possible or the mycelium growth may block the syringe tip.
Shake well before use.
Always handle using sterile techniques and we highly recommend inoculating in either a still air box or in front of a flow hood to reduce the chance of contamination. If you plan to re-use the needle, sterilise before and after each use. To inoculate your sterilised grain, the syringe should be inserted into a self-healing injection port.
--STORAGE--
Leave in the mylar bag supplied.
For extended shelf life, store in the fridge at 5-8°C (up to 6 months).
Room temperature storage (up to 35°C) is suitable for 30-60 days. Avoid freezing, as it will destroy the culture.
* Do not refrigerate Pink Oyster mycelium or it will die.
