Ensure you cover each Monotub air hole with the micropore tape, ensuring the hole is fully covered/no gaps.
Once you put your micropore tape on your Monotub air holes, you can place painters tape over the micropore tape until the Monotub is fully colonised and you start to see pinning. Then remove the painters tape and let air circulate. A Monotub does not need air until the mushrooms start pinning. This method can improve your grow by ensuring the Monotub does not dry out prematurely which can result in If you don't use painters tape over the filter tape then the Monotub can dry out prematurely and produce smaller fruits/yields.
3M Micropore tape may NOT be sterilised by steam (autoclave).
Do not spray with Hydrogen Peroxide (reduces effectiveness).
Not recommended as a filter on grain spawn jars (higher contamination rate/better solutions available).
